Hi Everyone, I’m glad to share a new open position of Investment Manager in London. The Investment Manager is a confident, articulate and self-motivated professional responsible for maintaining successful existing business relationships as well as identifying, managing, and undertaking research and analysis of new business and development opportunities.

Position Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Supporting senior management with the execution of the Investment Partnership business plan.
  • Leading and managing due diligence and transaction executions.
  • External stakeholder management where required, interfacing with investors, partners, and investment banks.
  • Carrying out asset-liability modelling.
  • Drafting investment advice.
  • Presenting advice to clients at meetings.
  • General consultancy, dealing with clients’ telephone queries and day to day correspondence providing investment advice where needed.
  • Understanding the client and the client’s aims and objectives.
  • Client management for small and large clients, taking responsibility for allocation and completion of work, and meeting deadlines.
  • Comply with relevant FCA requirements for individuals providing regulated advice.
  • Assisting with new business pitches and developing investment consulting opportunities with existing clients.
  • Attending networking events when required.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in the use and application of Excel and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of investor needs including investment structures.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a variety of external and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • To be CF30 competent or ideally registered.
  • A minimum of a 2.1 degree, ideally in a numerical subject.
  • IMC (level 4) qualified is a prerequisite.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an investment orientated role in financial services.
  • Significant previous exposure to funding research and ongoing portfolio management.
  • A good level of experience of working with and meeting private clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team, liaising with a variety of different people across the business.
